Robinhood agentic trading alternatives for crypto.
Robinhood connects a third-party agent to a dedicated account. You might look elsewhere because you want Hyperliquid perpetuals, already use another exchange, or want to operate your own trading software.

What Robinhood provides
Its Agentic Trading account separates the funds the connected agent can trade from your primary holdings. You connect through Robinhood’s Trading MCP server and control the account’s funding and access.
The supported trading tools cover equities, options, and crypto. Crypto requires a corresponding Robinhood Crypto account and its agreement; state restrictions apply. Crypto holdings are not FDIC insured or SIPC protected. Check eligibility in Robinhood before choosing a setup around it.

| OKX Agent Trade Kit | Local CLI or MCP to OKX | You connect an assistant to OKX trading tools. |
| Hummingbot / Freqtrade | Supported exchange connectors | You operate the strategy software and its deployment. |
For a managed agent on Hyperliquid
DXAP runs an agent from your plain-language strategy. It can read market context, decide when to act and propose trades; the policy engine checks your configured limits before execution. Funds remain in a Hyperliquid account you control, and the agent’s trade-only keys have no withdrawal rights.
DXAP supports perpetuals on Hyperliquid. There is no subscription or model bill. The fee is 2.5 bps (0.025%) on executed agent volume, with Hyperliquid fees and funding separate. The minimum is $10 in USDC per agent. A referral code is required for alpha access; the waitlist is for requesting access.
For an agent on an exchange you already use
Coinbase for Agents connects through MCP or a CLI and offers an isolated-portfolio option. Check the products and permissions available on your account.
Kraken CLI provides local trading tools and an MCP server. Its paper-trading mode works without live trading credentials; real orders use the permissions on your Kraken API key.
OKX Agent Trade Kit provides a local CLI and MCP interface for OKX, including spot and derivatives tools. It connects an assistant to your exchange account; supported instruments and access depend on eligibility.
For running your own strategy software
Hummingbot and Freqtrade are options when you want control over the strategy code and deployment. Review the connector for your exchange and how it handles orders. Running locally does not change who holds funds on that exchange.
